Santa Crescenzia Chapel
Among the beauties of the town, we must also include the Santa Crescenzia Chapel. The graceful squared structure was built in the 18th century in honour of the caretaker of San Vito, Santa Crescenzia, of whom stories said that she died precisely in the place where now the homonym chapel rises.
It was built by the Arabs but it has different ethnic influences: in fact we can observe elements that suggest the Gothic and Norman cultures.
Since forever, the Santa Crescenzia Chapel prides itself with great devotion of a lot of tourists and local people that visit it and pay homage.
